Business Development Manager – OEM

We are seeking an OEM Business Development Manager with a passion for wood. The successful candidate will build Sansin’s OEM business portfolio by strategically supporting existing and new clients. Our customers need a keen, energetic and self-motivated individual that is reliable and organized in their work.

The OEM Business Development Manager will focus on identifying and closing new business opportunities within existing and new client markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of OEM Sales, the OEM Business Development Manager is responsible for finding and qualifying prospects to grow business revenues within parts of North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Find, qualify, and onboard new factory finishers in North America, meet sales targets.
  • Strong ability to develop, manage and implement successful revenue growth plans.
  • Ability to work within a team, delivering on promises and motivational to colleagues
  • Ability to comprehend, use, and demonstrate Sansin’s products in a manner that is received well by the target audience. All the while having a keen sense of competitors, regularly updating management with anything competitively of interest for R and D consideration.
  • Achieve revenue and growth targets for Sansin’s industrial business through a consultative sales approach that has the client’s best interest in mind.
  • Proactively connect with existing and potential clients, build awareness of coating solutions and ensure promises are kept
  • Develop capabilities presentations and targeted sales promotional materials to help develop a sales funnel and close business.
  • Create and present properly branded, professional and through client proposals that result in conversion to new business
  • Support the development of the verification and certification program for finishers
  • Visit current customers and conduct verification program that meets quality and coverage requirements for factory finishers
  • Ability to learn and understand the full product line and their application as well as all factors that may affect performance
  • Enthusiastic organized approach to reporting weekly achievements and plans
  • Other duties as assigned
