Project Manager

Location: Strathroy, Ontario

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Manager will plan and implement specified projects,  and keep them on schedule from start to completion date. The Project Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining all policy, procedure, and work instruction documents to reflect Sansin’s business operating policies and procedures and enable consistent performance and outcomes. This role works with all business units to revise, refine, and/or create the required documentation that is made available within departments and across the company as reference publications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall planning and scheduling of assigned projects including monitoring and reporting.
  • Ensure that all functions and operations on assigned projects are executed
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and timelines, and project status reports and manage projects to strategies, budgets and timelines.
  • Drives strict adherences to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Identify project concerns and alert management of potential risks on assigned projects.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
  • Participate in the identification of subcontractors for specific project needs.
  • Develop policies and procedures as needed
  • Analyze effectiveness of documentation and recommend improvement opportunities to management.
  • Develop documents to help maintain an effective set of policies, procedures, and work instructions (consistent with program guidelines).
  • Interface with management and employees to determine appropriate policy, procedure, and work instruction requirements.
  • Perform research and review documents to identify gaps in documentation.
  • Remain current on policies and procedures for all business areas.
  • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • University or college degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience communicating effectively, verbally, and in writing, with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in working directly or indirectly with operations/customer service teams.
  • Experience with differentiated audience eligibility, enrollment, or related programs preferred

The Sales Representative will focus on serving and growing our key existing accounts and identifying and closing new business with independent retailers, finishers and OEMs. We are looking for someone who has a consultative approach to help customers understand, appreciate and utilize a range of Sansin finishes to beautify and protect wood.

The range of responsibilities include outside sales, customer service, product training and promotions, problem resolution, special events/conferences, and strategic planning for customer and prospect visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve revenue and growth targets for Sansin’s retailer and industrial businesses through a consultative sales approach that solves clients’ business growth issues while expanding Sansin’s line within existing stores to increase unit sales through store
  • Increase brand awareness through continuous education and merchandising.
  • Through proactive contact with existing and potential clients, generate new revenue and regularly interface with retail, industrial and architectural customers to ensure growth on track.
  • Develop dealer capabilities presentations and targeted sales promotional materials to help team develop sales funnel and close business.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and Sansin Care team to identify and target opportunities.
  • Create and present creative client proposals that result in conversion of sales leads.
  • Contribute to retail and architectural account planning strategy.
  • Seek opportunities within existing customers to grow revenue.
  • As part of the sales process, gather market and client intelligence and provide strategic feedback to management team.
  • Contribute to regular forecasting, budgeting and business planning processes

Essential Experience

  • A successful track record in identifying and closing new business opportunities, or the aptitude and motivation to develop and refine consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with proven ability to analyze and translate data into key insights and recommendations.
  • Proactive and well organized with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
  • Collaborative and consultative – able to develop positive relationships at all levels of client companies and within sales and marketing teams.
  • Travel to meet with prospects and clients as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in online meeting, desktop sharing, and video conferencing software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Must be willing and able to travel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous sales experience required (2-5 years)
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and time management skills with a strong ability to multitask
  • Must have a valid G class driver’s license

Sansin is looking for a Production/Warehouse Associate . The candidate should be energetic and driven to succeed in a high growth company. Work hours are primarily between 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. Professional growth opportunities based on achievement.

Job Duties

  • Daily contribution to maintain a clean, organized and quiet work environment
  • General organization of raw materials and finished goods
  • Dispense product into finished goods containers
  • Build daily orders through attaining, formulating and packing
  • Pack goods for shipments
  • Prepare product samples
  • Adhere to and implement quality control standards
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Help improve and implement policies and procedures to help maintain a healthy work environment
  • Maintain and improve on production practices and safety requirements
  • Label finished goods containers
  • Operate piment machines

Qualifications

Graphic Artist

We are currently seeking an experienced Graphic Artist to assist with our design and marketing efforts. This individual will provide creative and innovative solutions, while producing designs that align with brand guidelines and company expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic thinking and excellent communication skills to move ideas from concept to execution.
  • Strong background in campaign and product design.
  • Manage and oversee production from idea to conception.
  • Possess thorough understanding and experience building files for both print and digital (collateral, packaging/product design, responsive web designs, ecommerce, marketing emails, social, etc).
  • Extremely creative thinker who brings new ideas to the table.
  • Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Executive Management, Sales, Customers and external agency teams and other internal stakeholders to concept, develop, and execute product launches.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field required.
  • 5+ years of design experience in branding for print, packaging, and digital marketing – experience in both print and web creative execution a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong visual design sense, excellent typography & layout skills, keen eye for detail and brand identity systems.
  • Possess an outstanding portfolio with variety of industries and deliverables represented.
  • Experience working with marketing teams and demonstrated flexibility in management of creative execution needs, and ability to positively respond to critique/feedback.
  • Fluency in current graphic design practices and Adobe CC Suite (primarily Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Understanding of the latest design trends (type, layout, digital).
  • Self-disciplined and motivated in a fast-paced environment that requires creativity and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, positive attitude, sense of humor, and can work independently but values collaboration and feedback.
  • Photography skills are needed, video editing is a plus.

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt email/phone follow-up on all customer inquiries, sales opportunities, customer complaints, and document in CRM software.
  • Managing database records, drafting status reports on internal programs.
  • Work in tandem with the sales team to develop and execute strategic account objectives
  • Prepare agendas in conjunction with other sales associates for meetings
  • Coach and motivate Dealer Staff to meet sales goals
  • Conduct and carry out virtual training sessions
  • Attend trade shows, sales meetings, or other sales events when required
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work 40 hours a week to reach sales targets with potential travel involved
  • Sales experience preferred – comprehensive training provided.
  • Degree or diploma from accredited College/University an asset
  • Superior time management skills, coupled with the ability to organize and prioritize.
