Coating's Maintenance
Maintaining your Accoya project on a regular basis will ensure long-lasting color retention, exceptional dimensional stability, and effective water repellance. Annual inspection is recommended. Refer to the individual coating product data sheets to review Sansin's recommended maintenance guidelines.

Should Accoya® be stained?
While accoya has exceptional dimensional stability, like all wood substrates the surface is prone to discoloration in exterior environments. Coatings tremendously benefit wood by protecting from UV, weathering and water degradation.
How often should Accoya® coatings be maintained?

- Accoya® wood surfaces should be maintained proactively. Newly exposed wood, due to damage, should be repaired by coating as soon as possible to minimize degradation.
- Coating maintenance cycles are variable and depend on surface preparations, exposure conditions and the coating system that was applied. Refer to Sansin Care to enroll your wood project for reminders on proactive coatings maintenance.
